As a reminder, on 28 April 2025, Zakirov resigned after the story of his «dekulakization» (asset forfeiture) unfolded: the prosecutor«s office demanded through court to seize property from the former Bugulma mayor, his mother, and his cousin worth first 60 million rubles ($666,700) and then 212 million rubles ($2,355,600). The lawsuit against the official and his family was personally filed by the Prosecutor of Tatarstan, Albert Suyargulov. According to the agency, houses and apartments in Bugulma, Kazan, and Moscow were purchased with funds whose origin Zakirov could not explain.
Later, this very Porsche was found among Zakirov«s assets, along with real estate in Sochi, foreign trips, and luxury items. The former mayor and his relatives were unable to challenge the decision to confiscate the property in favor of the state.
