Salary Forecast for Tyumen Residents in 2026

Wage growth in the Tyumen region will continue in 2026, but its dynamics will change, analysts predict.
Professor Marina Giltman of Tyumen State University believes that real incomes are unlikely to increase at a high pace, while nominal wages will show moderate growth. «Most likely, such a rapid growth, especially of real wages, should not be expected,» she noted.
The economist explained that the region«s sectoral structure differs from the national average. The oil and gas sector and service industries can contribute to wage growth, but mainly for scarce specialists. «The labor shortage is not general, but specific and for certain positions. And for these specialists, wage growth will certainly continue, including real growth. In more mass industries, such as trade and service sectors, we will most likely not see wage increases,» Giltman added.
At HeadHunter for the macroregion Siberia, Urals, and Far East, it was reported that the «salary race» of recent years has exhausted itself as the main tool for attracting candidates. However, according to a survey, 59% of Ural companies plan to raise salaries for employees in 2026. The increase will affect individual specialists, especially scarce ones or those with high professional and digital skills.
Analysts at SuperJob forecast an average salary increase of 8–10% in IT and information security. For highly skilled workers in industry and construction, income growth of 7–10% is expected.
In private medicine, according to SuperJob, doctors in narrow and high-tech specialties retain positions in the highest salary league. In this sector, wage growth will be at least 10–12%.
