Ufa TV cameraman from Egypt killed in special military operation

After television, the cameraman went to work at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (UGNTU).
Former cameraman of Ufa TV channels Ahmed Maklad was killed in the special operation zone, his colleagues told UFA1.RU.
Ahmed Maklad was born in Egypt. According to his social media, in his homeland, the journalist graduated from the Higher School of Cinema at the American University in Cairo. In an interview with Mkset, he said that in 2009 he received a residence permit in Russia, even before that he started working at the TV channel «All Ufa», then at «RBC Ufa». Recently, he worked at Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (UGNTU).
Journalist Timur Davletov (program «Honestly Speaking», Bashkortostan State Television (BST)), who worked with the cameraman for many years, shared memories of his colleague with UFA1.RU.
«We went on air with him almost every day for three years. He was the cameraman, and I was the daytime host. Before the broadcast, we always laughed with him; he was Egyptian — he constantly told me how things were there. It was very relieving. He was very kind, responsive, cheerful. Then somehow I met him in a taxi as a driver — it was so unfortunate, he is a film cameraman with higher education, but driving a taxi,» the journalist shared.
In the «RBC Ufa» team, the cameraman managed to work for about a year, but during this time he also managed to be remembered by colleagues.
«In the RBC Ufa team, Ahmed worked for about a year. He made a lot of effort to help set up the lighting in the studio, and he never tired of making adjustments all the time. Different things happened, these are work processes,» the TV channel team told UFA1.RU. «But we will remember him as a positive, extraordinary person with his own unique view of the world.»
The farewell for Ahmed Maklad will take place on 27 January at 10:00 at the Northern Cemetery in Ufa.
