Two people killed in Ryazan region fires last week
A total of 18 fires were reported in the Ryazan region over the past week, resulting in two fatalities.

Last week, from January 19 to 25, 18 fires occurred in the Ryazan region—13 of a technical nature and five rubbish fires. 18 buildings and one piece of equipment burned down, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS) reported.
The department also specified that two of the fires resulted in fatalities:
On January 19, a residential house burned down in the village of Gladkiye Vyselki, Zakharovsky District, killing a 47-year-old man;
On January 20, a 55-year-old man died during a fire in a residential house in the village of Dmitriyevo, Kasimovsky District.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations registered no incidents on water bodies.
