Another fatal traffic accident has occurred in the Orenburg region. According to the press service of the regional police department, it happened on January 25 at the 10th kilometer of the Gaj–Iriklinsky highway.

Preliminary information indicates that the 41-year-old driver of a Shakhman truck (with Bashkir license plates) lost control and veered into the left-side ditch, where the heavy vehicle overturned onto its left side — the same side where the driver«s seat is located.

The injuries sustained by the man were fatal; he died at the scene before the arrival of the medical team. Emergency services (EMERCOM) personnel were called to the scene to clear the aftermath of the accident.

Police noted that the deceased may have been driving at a speed unsuitable for the road conditions and, at the time of the crash, had not considered it necessary to fasten his seat belt. An investigation is underway.
