A fire broke out in a residential house on Kooperativnaya Street in the village of Bolshoy Istok. Witnesses immediately called rescuers, but local residents, without waiting for their arrival, began to fight the fire on their own.

Teenagers from all over the village came to help. Armed with shovels, they threw snow at the flames. Those who didn«t have tools threw snowballs at the house. »Kids from different streets ran to the fire and didn«t just watch, but actually extinguished it with shovels,» witnesses reported.
