Police Detain Man in Kudrovo for Attempted ATM Hack
A 35-year-old unemployed resident of Kudrovo tried to hack an ATM with a screwdriver but failed to extract money. He was detained the next day and placed in a detention cell.

On January 24, in the vestibule of a bank branch on European Avenue in Kudrovo (Leningrad Oblast, Russia), an unknown man attempted to hack an ATM. Using a screwdriver, he damaged the lower part of the casing, where there was over 4 million rubles (approximately $44,400 at current rates), but failed to reach the money.
A criminal case on attempted theft was initiated over the incident.
On January 25, on Austrian Street, criminal investigation officers detained the suspect – a 35-year-old unemployed local resident. The detainee was placed in a detention cell for two days.
