Omsk Woman Dies After Suffering Burns in Kuzminki Fire

The fire broke out early yesterday morning in a residential building in Omsk«s Kuzminki district.
A woman from Omsk, who yesterday, January 25, sustained 85% body burns in a fire in an apartment building in the Kuzminki microdistrict, has died. This was reported by NGS55.RU citing the regional Ministry of Health. According to the ministry, the woman was in serious condition.
«The patient, who suffered 85% body burns and was in serious condition, despite all efforts by doctors, died today.»
Three more people with smoke inhalation were sent for outpatient treatment.
Recall that the fire occurred in a building at Vzlyotnaya Street, 13/1. The fire was reported at 7:14. 96 people evacuated on their own. Firefighters rescued 29 people, including 8 children. The fire, covering 40 square meters, was extinguished by 35 employees of Russia«s Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM), using nine pieces of equipment. The fire was localized at 8:02 and completely extinguished at 8:29. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
