On the morning of Saturday, 31 January, a water main ruptured in the center of Nizhny Novgorod. Kovalykhinskaya Street was flooded as a result. Readers of NN.RU shared footage of the water spreading like rivers.

As reported by the city administration, a pipe burst near house No. 9 on Nesterova Street. The leak has now been contained. Specialists are carrying out repairs, removing water and ice from the roadway. They promise to complete the work by the end of the day.
