Head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has taken interest in the incident that occurred on January 30 in Orenburg on Montazhnikov Street. There, as reported by 56.RU, the asphalt collapsed right in front of a college, and two young men fell into a hole with boiling water.

The incident has prompted a high-level criminal investigation and monitoring by local authorities.

The country«s chief investigator instructed the head of the Investigative Committee»s Directorate for the Orenburg Region, Vyacheslav Zuderman, to submit a report on the preliminary and final results of the criminal case investigation.

— The execution of this instruction is being monitored by the central office of the agency, — the Investigative Committee«s information center reported.

— Recall that this criminal case is also under the supervision of Orenburg Region Prosecutor Ruslan Medvedev. The section of Montazhnikov Street will be closed to traffic until February 27.
