Free Public Transport Introduced in Murmansk and Severomorsk
Murmansk Region Governor Andrey Chibis has announced free public transport in Murmansk and Severomorsk due to power outages, effective until electricity is restored.

On January 26, following a meeting of the operational headquarters, Murmansk Region Governor Andrey Chibis reported that due to power supply disruptions, free travel has been introduced on trolleybuses and buses in Murmansk and Severomorsk.
Chibis published the corresponding statement in his Telegram channel: «First and foremost, starting tomorrow and until power supply is restored, travel on trolleybuses and buses under regulated and unregulated tariffs in Murmansk, the closed city of Severomorsk, as well as between them, will be free.»
