Debris from drones damaged residential buildings and enterprises in Slavyansk-on-Kuban. The attack led to destruction and casualties. This was reported by the official Telegram channel of the operational headquarters of Krasnodar Krai.

As a result of the falling debris, seven houses were damaged. In three of them, windows were broken, and in one, the roof was also damaged. In the other four cases, debris was found on the properties: in one house, a canopy was damaged and window panes were shattered, and in two others, fragments fell in the yards without hitting the buildings. There are no casualties among the residents.

Moreover, debris fell on the territory of two city enterprises. There, one person sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was hospitalized. At the enterprises, fires also broke out, which were extinguished by special services.

Overall, that same night, air defense forces, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, intercepted and destroyed 40 Ukrainian drones. Of these, 34 were shot down over Krasnodar Krai, 4 over the Sea of Azov, and one each over Bryansk and Kaluga regions. In Bryansk region, authorities stated that the falling debris did not lead to destruction or casualties.

The day before, on January 25, debris from another drone damaged a power line, a fence, and windows in two schools in the stanitsa (Cossack village) of Fedorovskaya, Krasnodar Krai. At that time, there were also no casualties.

What to do if you see a drone?

First and foremost — you need to call the number 112.

You need to report:

  • your first name, last name, and patronymic;

  • the address where the drone was spotted;

  • describe the drone: whether it is hovering or flying, its silhouette, what flashing light it has;

  • what sound the object makes — buzzing, the sound of a lawnmower, a moped.

Second — leave the area where the drone was spotted, and if possible, warn those around you.

If you find a drone on the ground, do not approach it and under no circumstances touch it. Call 112 and report the find.
