'Danger is Very Real': Omsk Residents Stranded by Yard Hot Water Burst

Omsk residents complain that near their house on Suleyman Stalsky Street, 9, the driveway to the yard is blocked due to a utility accident. According to residents, a pipe burst under the asphalt and a huge puddle of hot water spread out.
«Residents were asked not to drive through the puddle, it»s very difficult to walk there, all the edges of the puddle have frozen. The danger is very real.«
The situation has not been resolved for about a week. For example, on 21 January, residents were told by the Heat Company: «On this section of the heating network, work is being carried out to pump out water and search for a possible defect in the pipeline, so it is not possible to specify exact deadlines at this time.»
As explained to NGS55.RU by the press service of the Heat Company, the damage has been inspected and water is being pumped out.
«At the address Stalsky, 9, damage occurred to the underground pipeline. To avoid disconnecting consumers, it was decided to carry out all work at a higher temperature. All work will be completed by 29 January.»
