«After paying for a ticket at the box office, we headed to the tubing rental point. The path to it goes through the tubing track, which you have to cross,» reader Yuliya told 74.RU. «While crossing this section, a tube sled coming down at high speed hit the child. The child was thrown into the air, resulting in a broken left humerus with displacement.»

The boy was hospitalized in the trauma department. Recovery, according to doctors, could take up to six months.
«He underwent two operations,» the reader said.
The family blames the recreation center for what happened.
«At this spot [at the crossing to the rental], there were no warning signs, no instructor or any employee of the organization watching over safety,» the mother accused.
We contacted the director of the recreation center, Stanislav Berg. He said that the boy«s parents had not reported the incident to the administration of Russkiye Zabavy.
«We have plenty of warnings; large banners saying «Caution, track» are hung, all markings are in place,» Stanislav Berg assured. «It«s purely human inattention. When people come, they ride and think they are alone. We always have a person standing at the crossing. He warns people, slows them down: »Careful, people are riding.«»
On 1 February, the center stated, such a person was also on duty on the tubing track.
We went to the scene and saw that warning banners are indeed hanging on the approaches.
However, visibility is not very good — it can be problematic to see whether someone is coming until you look out, especially for a child.
After we reached out for comment, the staff at Russkiye Zabavy asked to pass their contact details to the boy«s parents so they could get in touch and discuss the incident.
