Boiling Water Floods Yuntolovo Apartments After Pipe Burst

A heating system burst occurred in house 7 on Ivinskaya Street on the afternoon of January 25. As a result, hot water flooded the second floor, steam formed in the premises, and the management company had to deal with the consequences.

One of the residents, Yana, learned about the incident from a neighbor around 11:40. «We called our district emergency service. The dispatcher asked us to wait because the plumber was on a call. When water started seeping into our apartment, we called the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MChS). We have two small children, and boiling water was running from the pipe,» she said.

Later, a plumber shut off the riser, which stopped the spread of water. The dispatch service of the management company explained that the cause was a faulty radiator and reported that the consequences of the accident have already been eliminated.
