According to the residents, they have appealed to the management company, the State Housing Inspectorate (GZhI), the city and regional administrations, the prosecutor«s office, and »Heat Company,« but this has not yielded results. Water was pumped out of the basement, but the burst in the pipe was not fixed.

‘For the sixth year, we have been flooded with boiling water at 13 Volochayevskaya Street; all city services have been notified with official letters, but it always ends only with pumping out the water, which still flows into our basement. The condition of the entrances and basement is critical, everything is covered in mold and fungus, residents« personal belongings and entrance areas are ruined, it steams heavily like in a sauna, humidity is critical, water drips from the ceilings, the foundation is swelling. No one hears us; everyone fends us off.’

The «Heat Company» responded to the complaint. They promised to repair the pipeline by the end of the week.

‘Repair work on the pipeline to the house at 13 Volochayevskaya Street is planned to be carried out by the end of this week inclusive. We will return with an answer no later than February 9.’
