Local heating issues persist after blackout, being addressed

— From the very beginning of the blackout, emergency crews were reinforced. On the fifth day of round-the-clock work, all mass heating requests have been processed, but local cases remain, each of which is unique and requires an individual approach, — the managing company reported.

For example, last night, residents of the building at Gagarin Street, 9, Building 5, were temporarily left without heating. The cause was the negligence of one of the residents: a heating radiator burst on the fifth floor due to freezing — the windows were wide open.

To stop the flow of hot water, heating in the building had to be temporarily shut off. After that, specialists quickly accessed the apartment and locally shut off the heat supply inside the premises.

Recall that Andrey Chibis announced the cancellation of electricity payments for residents of Murmansk and Severomorsk during the power outages.

In the Murmansk region, a power supply line was installed on temporary supports, and later, residents of Murmansk and Severomorsk began to have power testingly restored in their apartments.

Recall that a state of emergency was declared in the Murmansk region. Full restoration of power supply after the accident may take at least a week. The Murmansk region prosecutor«s office has already launched an investigation due to the mass power outages. A criminal case has been initiated.
