A resident of Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Oblast, encountered difficulties when trying to obtain the results of tests taken at her clinic at 13 Herzena Street.

“I ran into absurdity. I made an appointment with a paid doctor and came to get the results of tests I had done at the clinic. The registration desk told me that there are no more medical records, and I can get the test results by signing up with a general practitioner. And wait at least a week! I have an appointment with the doctor this week and I need them now! Before, by simply taking the record with me, I would already have them, but now I have to sit in hour-and-a-half long queues?” – described the patient.

The Ministry of Health of the Yaroslavl Region reported that the procedure for obtaining test results is the same for everyone. “A patient can order a copy of the test results from their general practitioner. They cannot refuse a copy,” the Ministry explained.

Officials added that one can also contact the head of the medical organization about this issue.

Where to find test results

In addition, you can view test results on the Gosuslugi (public services portal) website, but only if the examinations were conducted at state medical institutions. The procedure in this case is as follows:

In a browser or app, go to your personal account, enter the «Documents» section, then the «Health» section. There, go to the «Medical Record» subsection, and within it, to «Research Protocols»;

  • Here you need to select a category and period – the test results will appear. If necessary, you can print them from Gosuslugi;

  • If there are no research protocols in the «Health» section, give permission to receive medical documents.
