Sheps recounts Tyumen filming oddities

Recently in Tyumen (Russia) there was filming of a new season of the show «Psychics: The Battle of the Strongest», where star mediums underwent trials. There they tried to deal with the «curse of the three widows». We spoke with Alexander Sheps, who not only shared his impressions of our city but also talked a little about his brother’s romance with a woman from Tyumen.

— Was this your first time in Tyumen? Share your impressions.

— Tyumen is a stunning city that is undoubtedly filled with an atmosphere of mysticism! Even on the way from the airport to the hotel, my colleagues and I went through a kind of additional trial. We simply made a random stop at an intersection and immediately saw a phantom standing there who made contact with us.

The people of Tyumen welcomed us very warmly and gave us a lot of positive emotions. I now want to visit again and simply wander the streets for my own pleasure.

— During filming you were seen in the Lesobaza district (Tyumen) — a place considered one of the most dangerous in the city. What did you feel when you were there? Do you have an explanation for why so many misfortunes have happened there recently?

— Many strange events took place in the Lesobaza district, and the place itself drew us in with its mystery. The stop was accidental, but the outcome amazed everyone. I wouldn’t call this place dangerous; it’s just that the energy there hasn’t always transformed in a positive direction. The events that occurred there instilled fear in many residents, and fear knows how to grow and transform into matter, which was most likely the cause of some tragedies.

— In Tyumen, fans were literally hunting for you. How do you feel about that? Does such heightened attention interfere with you?

— We really did have a lot of fans in Tyumen. This certainly warms the soul, and even when trials become difficult, such love opens up additional reserves to get through them. It instills a sense of responsibility to others and undoubtedly gives strength.

— After the show «Battle of the Psychics» began airing, many people in the country decided they also had extrasensory abilities. The wave then subsided — and recently started growing again. How do you feel about this? In what periods, in your view, does people’s interest increase, and why?

— All people are born as psychics; some continue to develop this within themselves, while others switch to something else. This was, is, and always will be. Interest rises when you see miracles before you and are not afraid to speak about them. In the Universe everything happens in due time.

— Why do people often prefer to seek help from magicians rather than professionals (psychologists, doctors, investigators, depending on the problem)? Can all problems be solved with supernormal abilities?

— It depends on the person and is strictly individual. Sometimes it really saves time and quickly solves urgent problems, while at times it becomes an excuse to shed responsibility for the right choice. I always advise looking at any hardships from all sides and not neglecting any help — especially when it comes to medicine. The desire to escape critical situations should not blind people. Remember, you cannot simply rely on a miracle and wait for results while sitting on your hands. Study your problem from every angle and, if it concerns health, first and foremost from the medical one. Go to doctors, not healers.

— Have you noticed that people’s requests to psychics change over the years? For example, perhaps people once believed more in the evil eye, and now they more often ask to look into the future and help with choices?

— People’s requests certainly vary, but unfortunately they often want to look precisely into the future. I am opposed to such practices. I always and everywhere say that the future is multivariant and we ourselves are the artists of our Universe. Predictions of the future are merely a program that carries consequences. By learning one of the options for their development, a person deprives themselves of choice along their path. A person becomes a hostage to someone else’s visions. In essence, they hand over the brush from the canvas of their life to someone who will shape the painting to their own taste without relying on any spiritual goals. This is very dangerous and fundamentally wrong. Simple curiosity can entail irreversible consequences. Remember: if you want to achieve something, then go and achieve it — don’t sit waiting for fair weather at sea when you’re the one who stirred up a storm.

— Everything modernizes over time. Tell us, do you also use any new technologies in your work?

— Any craft evolves along with the master who possesses it. The same applies to magic. New knowledge opens up, new practices are learned, rituals are mastered. If earlier I always needed a dagger for a spiritist séance, now phantoms mostly come into direct contact on their own. There are many examples. A good master never stands still and always tries something new.

— Let us in on a secret — is your heart free now? After living through romances with a fellow psychic and with your own fan, have any taboos appeared in relationships?

— I have no taboos in relationships. Love is not a feeling to be lassoed, but a true gift accepted in any form.

— What should a girl be like to win over Alexander Sheps?

— One who loves life and inspires new achievements.

— Do you use your abilities in everyday life? Maybe you check compatibility with someone?

— I cannot fail to use what nature has given me, but I never look into the future. I build it myself.

— About the future. Have you ever wanted to stop your work? After all, working with other people’s tragedies is very hard…

— Helping people brings a feeling of inner euphoria and harmony! This doesn’t only concern magic. You can help in different ways! The main thing is that it’s from the heart…

— Many of your colleagues from the show have left television — they tour and consult people. Why do you continue filming? What do you like most in all these projects «about psychics»?

— It’s part of my life and a priceless experience that allows me to become stronger.

— How are your relations with your brother? Is there any struggle for viewers’ love?

— Brotherly love is unbreakable, even when we feel like giving each other a thrashing. Struggle between us does not mean hatred, but rather a way of self-affirmation. There’s enough viewer attention for each of us, and there’s no point in making it a cause for quarrels.

— By the way, we know your brother is dating a woman from Tyumen. Are you acquainted? How do you feel about Oleg’s choice?

— Yes, I know her. Polina is a wonderful girl who found the key to Oleg’s heart and heard his soul. I can only sincerely be happy for them and approve of my brother’s choice.

News of Oleg Sheps’s romance with a girl from Tyumen became known in the summer, when their joint photos appeared on social networks. In them, the couple is hugging on a yacht.

Psychics have come to Tyumen more than once. For example, a few years ago a film crew traveled to the village of Zinovo (Tyumen Oblast, Russia), where a woman lives who married three times, but all her husbands died under strange circumstances.
