Exchange Building Contractor Added to 'Black List'
The company 'RSK-Renaissance' has been included in the register of unscrupulous suppliers after the termination of the contract for the restoration of the Exchange Building on the Spit of Vasilievsky Island.

The contract with «RSK-Renaissance» for work worth 1.4 billion rubles (about $15.4 million at current rates) was terminated. On January 26, the company was officially added to the corresponding register.
Inclusion in the list of unscrupulous suppliers means a two-year ban on participation in state procurements.
As previously reported, the contract for the restoration of the Exchange was terminated unilaterally. The Ministry of Culture stated that the company had not even begun preparing the documentation. Meanwhile, the owner and general director of the firm, Marat Karginov, was arrested on charges of bribery, and the organization«s accounts were blocked.
Particular attention is drawn to the fact that the work was prepaid by 90%. Now the Ministry of Culture is demanding the full return of these funds.
