Work at the site to restore the power lines of Rosseti is being carried out in extremely severe weather conditions. This was reported by Governor Andrey Chibis in his Telegram channel. There are also problems with the delivery of equipment: the terrain is rugged, with many steep ascents. A helicopter also failed to land due to zero visibility.

«Specialists are working at the limit of their capabilities, trying again and again to do everything possible to restore the lines, but it is difficult to name specific deadlines now. Once again, specialists are attempting to erect temporary supports, but the weather is making its own adjustments,» the head of the region said.

Chibis thanked the Northern Fleet and private companies for their prompt assistance with the necessary equipment, as well as the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for delivering workers to the accident site.

«Upon my return, I will hold a final operational meeting, where we will discuss what additional measures we can take taking into account the day»s work, as well as the current status of the territories without power supply,« the governor said.
