Public Catering Inspected for Veterinary Documents in Kurgan Region

In the Kurgan region, specialists from the Ural Interregional Directorate of Rosselkhoznadzor (the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance) inspected public catering establishments for all veterinary documents. Inspectors found the sale of ready-made dishes and semi-finished products containing fish, meat, and dairy products, the quality and safety of which were not documented.
As reported by the press service of Rosselkhoznadzor, the inspection covered delivery chains for rolls and sushi, cafe-canteens, bakeries, pie shops, and culinary departments in Kurgan and Kataysk. Five enterprises were not registered in the Rosselkhoznadzor information system, and two more had registration but did not issue veterinary accompanying documents.
Without documentation, it is impossible to determine the origin of raw materials and products, which can threaten consumer health. All violators were issued warnings, and repeat offenders will face administrative liability.
Last year, inspections in the Kurgan region resulted in 53 warnings to public catering owners, 117 violations of veterinary legislation, and 36 protocols on administrative offenses under Part 1 of Article 14.43 and Part 1 of Article 10.6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
