Yaroslavl Residents Advised on Refunds for Canceled Ice Show

Rospotrebnadzor has offered to help residents of Yaroslavl get refunds for tickets to the ice show «The Nutcracker on Ice with a Symphony Orchestra,» which was canceled at Arena-2000.
«We suggest consumers who were unable to use tickets for the canceled event take the following steps: contact the legal address of the organizer, as well as the agent from whom the tickets were purchased, with demands for a refund of the ticket cost and compensation for incurred losses,» the department stated on December 30.
If the organizer or agent refuses to refund the money, viewers can file a complaint with the Rospotrebnadzor Office for the Yaroslavl Region, providing all supporting documents.

The ice performance was scheduled to take place in Yaroslavl on January 4, 2026. At Arena-2000, two sessions were planned — at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Ticket prices started from 800 rubles (about $8 at current rates).
The cancellation also affected several other Russian cities. Viewers in Tolyatti, Samara, Perm, Yekaterinburg, and Chelyabinsk were left without the New Year«s performance.
The tour organizer is the Moscow-based company LLC «Ledovyye Sezony» (Ice Seasons), registered in 2020. As of 2024, the company has one employee, with revenue of 41.8 million rubles and net profit of 2.1 million rubles. The founder and head is Stanislav Zylev, who also leads the public organization «Nashi Narody» (Our Peoples) and LLC «Apelsin-Kontsert» (Orange Concert).
Earlier, in August 2025, Bolshoi Theatre ballerina Anastasia Smirnova complained about unpaid fees for participating in this show. The general director of «Ledovyye Sezony,» Stanislav Zylev, confirmed the existence of wage arrears to artists and expressed hope to repay the debts using income from the tour.
