The journey began with a trial. The road from Montenegro turned into an 8-hour quest: downpours, flooding, dark mountain serpentines, and an uncleared climb to the resort itself, where even all-wheel-drive vehicles got stuck.

«This was the moment when I sincerely regretted my idea,» shares the author of the report.

But everything changed as soon as she reached the top. Kopaonik greeted her not with a modest village, but with a full-fledged resort town with dozens of hotels, restaurants, spas, and vibrant life. The contrast was striking.

Many families with children and sports schools—a good sign for those just learning to ski. The resort has about 55 kilometers of slopes, more than 25 lifts, and routes for all difficulty levels.
