The analytical portal Times Higher Education has published the results of the annual world university ranking, which includes several higher education institutions from Rostov Region.
More than three thousand higher education institutions from around the world participated in the study. The top three places were taken by the University of Oxford (UK), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA), and Princeton University (USA).
Among the Russian participants, there were nearly a hundred universities. The highest positions among them were taken by Lomonosov Moscow State University, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
The main ranking list includes the Southern Federal University (SFU) and the Don State Technical University. SFU received higher scores, but both institutions are positioned approximately in the middle of the overall table.
Rostov State University of Economics and the Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) provided data for evaluation but did not make it into the main list, remaining in the participant category.
