Voronezh Region places 49th in gasoline affordability ranking

Voronezh Region took 49th place in the rating of regions by gasoline affordability, published by RIA Novosti. The study showed how many liters of AI-92 gasoline can be bought with the average net salary in the region.
A resident of Voronezh Region could buy 1,033 liters of 92-octane gasoline with the average salary for December 2025. The cost per liter of this fuel in the region was 61.94 rubles (approximately $0.62 at current rates), which is 11.1% higher than last year.
The leaders of the rating traditionally are capital and oil-producing regions with high salaries. In Moscow, the Chukotka and Yamalo-Nenets autonomous districts, one can buy over 2,000 liters of fuel with the average earnings. The average indicator for Russia is 1,393 liters.
Voronezh Region entered the group of 42 subjects where the affordable volume of fuel ranges from 1,000 to 1,500 liters. The rating is closed by five North Caucasian republics, where gasoline affordability is affected by both higher fuel prices and relatively low salary levels.
