Over three years, Primorye Territory has become one of the Far Eastern regions with the most noticeable growth in offered wages: the median offer in job listings rose 31% — from 66.4 thousand rubles (about $740 at current rates) in 2023 to 86.9 thousand rubles (about $970 at current rates) in 2025. These data were presented by analysts of the online recruitment platform hh.ru following an analysis of the labor market in the Far Eastern Federal District.

In terms of growth rate, Primorye ended up in the same group as the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), which also showed +31%, trailing only Buryatia (+41%), Trans-Baikal Territory (+36%), and Amur Oblast (+35%). At the same time, Vladivostok and Primorye Territory as a whole maintain their status as one of the key employment centers in the Far East, where wage growth is accompanied by expanding demand for personnel.

Experts noted that average figures hide much sharper changes within individual professions. In Primorye Territory, wage offers grew above the market average in 82 specialties over three years. The absolute leader was promoters — the median wage in job listings increased by 122%, to 80 thousand rubles (about $890 at current rates). Offers for painters and plasterers more than doubled (+101%, to 161 thousand rubles or about $1,800 at current rates).

Significant growth was also recorded for drivers (+87%, to 165.3 thousand rubles or about $1,800 at current rates), geologists (+79%, to 180 thousand rubles or about $2,000 at current rates), couriers (+77%, to 159 thousand rubles or about $1,800 at current rates), installers (+65%, to 154.2 thousand rubles or about $1,700 at current rates), and PR managers (+65%, to 99.1 thousand rubles or about $1,100 at current rates).

The list of professions with the fastest wage growth included kindergarten teachers, doctors, electricians, welders, auto mechanics, and even cleaners — almost half of the top 20 were representatives of blue-collar trades.

As analysts emphasized, the labor market in Primorye is increasingly responding to a shortage of skilled personnel.

«Employers are willing to pay more for guaranteed results, speed in solving problems, and the ability to generate profit. Moreover, the shortage of highly qualified personnel creates competition among companies, which also raises the specialist»s «price tag,»« said Ksenia Averina, director of hh.ru for the Far East.

According to her, investing in professional skills is now becoming the most reliable way to increase income.

The trend is not unique to Primorye Territory. Across the Far East as a whole, the highest median wages in 2025 were recorded in Magadan Oblast (121.5 thousand rubles or about $1,400 at current rates), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (118.9 thousand rubles or about $1,300 at current rates), and Yakutia (100.5 thousand rubles or about $1,100 at current rates).

High offers also persisted in Trans-Baikal Territory (98.6 thousand rubles or about $1,100 at current rates), Amur Oblast (97.4 thousand rubles or about $1,100 at current rates), and Kamchatka Territory (93.5 thousand rubles or about $1,000 at current rates), where shift work plays a significant role.
