Yekaterinburg thief robs clinic after dental theft fails
A man who stole a phone from a dental clinic in central Yekaterinburg on the night of 31 January also broke into the «Panacea» medical center on Zavodskaya Street.
In the second case, the intruder was more successful: he managed to take cash from the premises. The amount stolen has not been disclosed.
«He took money from the cash register, broke a window, and damaged the blinds. The police were notified, and we would prefer not to comment on the amount,» said a representative of Panacea.
Yekaterinburg police reported that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
The thief«s next target was a children»s dental clinic. Surveillance footage shows him unsuccessfully searching desks and cabinets for money.
A representative from one of the affected clinics suggested the crimes might be connected to a group of teenagers who robbed five dental clinics over 10 days in 2023.
