Ural Resident Beaten in Entrance Attack

On 29 January, a violent attack occurred in a building at 10 Kalinina Street in the Uralmash district. A man, for no apparent reason, attacked a stranger who was entering the building«s entrance to pick up an item purchased online.

An eyewitness reported: «An unhinged man in blue jeans attacked a peaceful citizen who was entering the entrance to get an item from an online ad. He attacked without good reason, beat him half to death, kicking and punching him, kicking him in the head, and wanted to bite his ear off. He slammed him against a car, leaving dents on it. The victim, in a state of shock with a broken head, was taken to the trauma center. The attacker has been renting an apartment in this building since late autumn. No one communicates with him; he is unstable. He also has a dog that bites everyone. This is far from the first incident. The police did not take him.»

Local residents noted that the aggressor has been renting housing in this building since late autumn and has a reputation as an unstable person with whom neighbors avoid contact. He has a dog known for biting people.

The incident was captured on a doorphone camera recording. The video shows a neighbor trying to break up the fight and asking another resident through the intercom to call the police.

Police representatives reported that the victim initially refused hospitalization and left the scene without filing a report. Law enforcement identified all participants in the conflict and detained the attacker. According to preliminary information, the victim does not have severe bodily injuries.

In mid-January, a similar case was recorded on Tsiolkovsky Street. A man concealing his face with a mask repeatedly committed unlawful acts: setting cars on fire in the yard and attacking a driver with a crowbar. Recently, he beat a man at an apartment entrance, after which investigators initiated a criminal case.

In another incident, a Ural resident stripped naked and caused a disturbance on a passenger bus, after which he was detained on the street.
