In Polevskoy, a 42-year-old local resident Alexei Voinov was convicted. He repeatedly staged dangerous «performances» with dummy grenades in public places, threatening teenagers and adults.

Despite the fact that the pyrotechnic devices were intended for airsoft, a criminal case was opened against Alexei Voinov for hooliganism using items as weapons (clause «a» of part 1 of Article 213 of the RF Criminal Code).

Thus, on 8 October 2025, Voinov, due to a trivial conflict, began threatening two teenagers aged 13 and 15. He pulled out two airsoft grenades, which externally resembled combat RGD-5 and F-1 grenades, and, waving them, declared his intention to detonate them, while showering the teenagers with obscenities.

On the same day, in the lobby of the city hospital, Alexei caused a scandal and shouted threats at his acquaintance and other visitors of the institution. At the same time, he showed those present the same dummy grenades.

A separate issue in Voinov«s case was an episode with a driver»s license. Once, he presented a traffic police inspector with a fake ID. But the police officer recognized the trick. Another criminal case was opened against Alexei, for document forgery.

«The man committed these listed crimes while being under a suspended sentence. The court revoked the suspended punishment and added the unserved part of the old sentence to the new one,» clarified the Sverdlovsk Regional Court.

Based on the cumulative sentences, Alexei Voinov was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months of deprivation of liberty in a general regime colony. He can still file an appeal.

Previously, we reported on a high-profile case of a hostage-taking in Pervouralsk. There, a 52-year-old man claimed he had a grenade, and began threatening to blow up a house.
