During interrogation, Aksenova stated she was simply performing her professional duties. She expressed willingness to return the money but insisted she had provided real help to the client.
During sessions, Darya used purification rituals with church candles.
«I deal with psychology, money mindset, I completed various courses. I studied for a year at the Moscow Institute of Psychology, plus unfinished higher education in PR and advertising, and also studied additional courses that I bought online. I worked as a psychologist, consulted people,» Daria told the police.
The life coach promised her clients a complete change of destiny.
According to her version, the criminal case was opened after the client«s father pressured her. »This is not the first incident, she ran away from him. It«s all in the correspondence. And now she thinks I fraudulently took money from her. But she paid for the work, it»s all recorded,« the coach claimed.
Aksenova explained that she had been working with the client since last year. The woman«s condition, she said, worsened due to difficult relationships with her parents. »When this happened, her condition deteriorated. She is terribly afraid of them,« Daria added.
In addition to psychological consultations, the life coach performed rituals using church candles for the client. «I clean the aura with a church candle. You just take it, clean it, go along the contour of a person»s body. This cleans the energy inside. It cannot be confirmed, but then the person says on feeling that they feel better,« the detainee said.
As a result of Aksenova«s actions, the victim lost 8 million rubles (at current rates, about $88,900), leading to financial problems and a nervous breakdown. In early 2026, the woman realized she had been deceived and contacted law enforcement.
The court will soon determine a preventive measure for Daria Aksenova.
