After 13 Years, Muscovite Convicted for Venyov Murder
A 46-year-old Moscow resident has been convicted for the 2013 beating death of a man in Venyov District, Tula Region, while his accomplice remains at large and is wanted internationally.

In Tula Region, a 46-year-old resident of Moscow was convicted for beating a resident of Venyov to death in 2013 together with an accomplice. This was reported by the press service of the regional prosecutor«s office.
On October 13, 2013, the 46-year-old Muscovite with no prior convictions quarreled with a 30-year-old employee of the Golden City entertainment complex in the village of Petropavlovskoye, Venyov District. The conflict ended with the latter being beaten. The Muscovite did this together with an acquaintance.
Later, the employee of Golden City died from the injuries sustained.
The crime was only solved in 2025, but with the coordinating role of the prosecutor«s office, the case was reopened and the necessary evidence base was gathered.
The accomplice of the 46-year-old Muscovite, who is also involved in the murder, is currently hiding abroad and has been declared internationally wanted.
The Muscovite was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months in a strict regime colony. He was convicted under articles for intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm by a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy, resulting in a person«s death.
