According to the claim, in August 2025, Klimenkov lent five million rubles (approximately $55,600 at current exchange rates) to Valery Konurkin, owner and director of Tsenalom. Tsenalom and Lesosibirsk Trading Company (LTC, another LLC of Konurkin) acted as guarantors under this agreement. He now seeks to have both companies declared bankrupt (1, 2).
In his application, Klimenkov stated that Konurkin did not repay the principal and interest on time. Previously, the entrepreneur filed a lawsuit with the Sorsky District Court of Khakassia. On December 2, the court ruled in his favor and ordered Konurkin«s companies to pay the debt — five million rubles in principal (approximately $55,600) and 445,000 rubles in interest accrued from September to January 28 (approximately $4,900 at current rates).
The court will decide whether to accept the application for proceedings within five business days.
According to the 2GIS directory, there are 11 Tsenalom stores in Krasnoyarsk Krai: six in Krasnoyarsk and one each in Zheleznogorsk, Achinsk, Kansk, Sosnovoborsk, and Balakhta. All are listed as «temporarily closed». The store map on the chain«s website is currently unavailable. Previously, the site stated that Tsenalom operated 36 »people«s discounters» in the krai, Khakassia, and Tuva. Stores in Abakan and Kyzyl, for example, are also «temporarily closed» on 2GIS.
On February 3, the bot «Tsenalom Club» reported that the stores are closing and liquidating inventory with discounts.
NGS24.RU has contacted a representative of the chain for comment and will publish the response when it arrives.
Last year, Tsenalom ranked sixth with revenue of four billion rubles (approximately $44.4 million at current rates) in the NGS24.RU ranking of Krasnoyarsk retail chains. Net profit was 9.8 million rubles (approximately $108,900) for 2024. Compared to 2023, revenue remained almost unchanged, but net profit dropped by over 130 million rubles (approximately $1.44 million). Data for 2025 is not yet available.
