Shops Notify of Daursky Meat Plant Closure in Transbaikal

Trade organizations in Chita have started notifying about the closure of the Daursky meat processing plant, which is located in the city of Krasnokamensk in the Transbaikal Territory. A copy of one such notification is in the possession of the editorial office of Chita.Ru.
The document states that from February 1, 2026, LLC «Meat Processing Plant »Daursky«» will cease operations for the production of sausage products, followed by the mothballing of the production site located in Krasnokamensk.
«In connection with this, the current contract with you for the supply of goods must be terminated as of February 1, 2026,» it is said in the notification.
When calling the number of the executor who prepared the document, the phone was answered in the supply department of the meat processing plant. The information about the closure was neither confirmed nor denied there, and they recommended contacting the group of companies «Talina».
A representative of GC «Talina» — a holding that combines enterprises in crop farming, feed production, industrial pig breeding and fattening, production and sale of meat gastronomy products — in a conversation with a correspondent of Chita.Ru on January 26 also did not comment on the information about the closure of the plant in Krasnokamensk, asking to send an official request to the company. At the same time, on the group«s website, it is indeed stated that the meat processing branch of the enterprise is represented by the sites of LLC »MPK «Atyashevsky»« in the Republic of Mordovia and LLC »MK «Daursky»« in the Transbaikal Territory.
According to the «Kontur.Fokus» system, LLC «Meat Processing Plant »Daursky«» was established in 2009 and registered in Krasnokamensk. Currently, the meat processing plant is fully owned by the group of companies «Talina» from Mordovia (general director Marina Markina).
At the end of 2024, the meat processing plant«s net loss was 45.3 million rubles (approximately $503,300 at current rates) with revenue of 1.2 billion rubles (approximately $13.3 million, down 13% from 2023). For the year 2023, the net loss was 10.2 million rubles (approximately $113,300).
