The cooperation agreement was signed by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), together with the transport leasing company GTLK and S7 Group.

«This document builds on the 2024 agreements and confirms the parties» intention to supply aircraft, including those with enhanced operational characteristics adapted to the operational model of S7 Airlines,« the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan reported.

The companies have already determined the technical configuration of the Tu-214, the necessary revisions to operational documentation, and the cabin layout, which will accommodate up to 213 passengers.

By the end of 2026, the parties plan to sign agreements defining the timelines, volumes, and other key terms of the deal. The start of serial deliveries is scheduled for 2029.

«The full operational lifecycle of the aircraft will be provided by S7 Group companies: the S7 Technics engineering center will become an authorized partner for maintenance of the new aircraft type, and the S7 Training center will handle the complete training cycle for flight crews and ground personnel,» UAC reported.

Additionally, the exhibition features the premiere of the fully domestically produced light multi-purpose helicopter from the Kazan Helicopter Plant—the Mi-34M1.

Earlier, Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov stated that by 2028–2029, the Kazan Aviation Plant would be producing 20 airliners per year.
