A new thermal complex will appear in the VIZ district. The beach complex Cuba-Cuba on the Bolshoi Konny Peninsula is planned to be rebuilt into it. The reconstruction will be undertaken by the owners—the company Baden-Baden, which bought the territory back in 2022.

The new project has been named Verkh City. As the company owner told E1.RU, construction is planned to start this year.

«We are currently at the stage of expert review of the project documentation. In February, we plan to complete the review and apply for a construction permit, but we will not start building before September. That is, Cuba will work through the summer, and after the season closes we will begin construction and installation work,» Evgeny Kononov, owner of Baden, told E1.RU.

They plan to build a hotel on the territory, and on the stylobate zone they will equip a thermal area of approximately five thousand square meters with a view of the Verkh-Isetsky Pond.

«On the pond itself, where a ship is currently moored, we plan to build an open-air pool with a sauna and a sunbathing area. There will also be a small pier for boats, motorboats, and yachts,» the businessman added.

Three years have been allocated for the project«s implementation. The new complex is planned to be completed by the end of 2029.

The Baden Family company owns six operating complexes in the Urals, including in Uktus, VIZ, and Rezh. All are owned by businessman Evgeny Kononov.

The day before, the first stage of Badenland opened in Yekaterinburg, having converted the long-suffering Komnomall shopping center into a thermal complex. To see what it looks like, follow the link. To make it easier for residents of the ZhBI district to get there, they plan to build a pedestrian bridge to the building (see link).

Also, we recently reported that in 2028, new thermal baths will appear on Lake Baltym.
