The production facilities in Vsevolozhsk, known as the former Nokian Tyres plant, have changed ownership once again. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, as of January 29, the owner of Ikon Tyres has become JSC Tatneftkhiminvest-Holding (TNKH-Kh).

Like the previous owner, Tatneft, the new owner is controlled by the government of the Republic of Tatarstan. Simultaneously, TNKH-Kh acquired another Vsevolozhsk-based company, Ikon Shina.

Similar asset transfers between these structures have occurred before. In the summer of 2022, Tatneft transferred its tire business, including plants in Nizhnekamsk, to TNKH-Kh. At that time, the Vsevolozhsk enterprise still belonged to the Finnish corporation, which left the Russian market in 2022. In 2023, the plant was sold to Tatneft and resumed operations under the Ikon Tyres brand.

The governor of Leningrad Oblast, Alexander Drozdenko, noted a decline in production volumes at the Ikon Tyres enterprise. Opened in 2005, the plant was one of the largest tire production facilities in Europe and manufactured products under the Hakkapeliitta and Nordman brands.
