Florinskiy Restaurant in Yekaterinburg to Close in February

The Florinskiy restaurant in Yekaterinburg has announced its closure. Its last day of operation will be February 7. The establishment confirmed the cessation of its activities without specifying the reasons.

Florinskiy opened in 2024 at 69 Sacco and Vanzetti Street. Its launch was managed by the team behind another well-known venue — Castor«ka.
The restaurant positioned itself as a spot for modern Russian cuisine with Ural accents. It was located in a 19th-century historical mansion that belonged to entrepreneur Pavel Florinsky, the owner of ready-made clothing stores.
The Florinsky Mansion is a two-story, semi-stone building with carved wooden decor in the style of folk architecture. The entrepreneur purchased the estate in 1889 and lived there while developing his clothing sales business.
The building«s restoration was handled by the company »Business House on Archiereyskaya,« associated with Ural oligarch Alexei Bobrov. Roughly 32 million rubles (about $360,000 at current rates) were spent on restoring the mansion, with another 50 million rubles (about $570,000) spent on interior finishing work.
