Florinskiy Restaurant in Yekaterinburg Center to Close

The closure of the Florinskiy restaurant has been announced in Yekaterinburg. It will only accept guests until February 7. The establishment itself confirmed that Florinskiy is ceasing operations, but did not specify the reasons.

Recall that the restaurant was opened in 2024 in the building at 69 Sakko and Vanzetti Street. Its launch was handled by the team from the Castor’ka restaurant.
Florinskiy positioned itself as a restaurant of modern Russian cuisine with Ural accents. It was emphasized that it is located in a unique historic 19th-century mansion of the entrepreneur P. M. Florinsky, who operated ready-made clothing stores in the city.
The mansion of Pavel Florinsky is a two-story semi-stone house with carved decor on wooden facades. Its design features motifs of folk wooden architecture. It is known that the entrepreneur Pavel Florinsky purchased this estate in 1889 and lived in it. Later, he opened several «ready-made clothing stores» in the city and became a sufficiently successful entrepreneur by the standards of the late 19th century.
Recall that the restoration of the mansion was handled by the company «Business House on Arkhiereiskaya,» whose beneficiary was the Ural oligarch Alexey Bobrov. According to the company, 32 million rubles (about $320,000 at current rates) were spent on the restoration. Another approximately 50 million rubles (about $500,000 at current rates) were spent on finishing work.
