According to Andrey Kovalev, director of the «Used Cars» direction at Avito, the share of SUVs and crossovers on the Russian secondary market is steadily growing and reached 28% in 2025. He stated that this is due to the fact that the SUV segment has long occupied a significant portion of the new car market.
«Buyers choose these models for their versatility, increased off-road capability, and comfort both in the city and beyond. Manufacturers, in turn, actively respond to market demands by expanding model lineups and adapting technical solutions for Russian operating conditions,» the specialist noted.
