Starting February 2, restrictions are being imposed on heavy vehicles on the Valentin Solokhin bridge over the Ob River in Surgut. Transportation weighing over 40 tons is prohibited from using it. Specialists made this decision after diagnosing the bridge structure. The restrictions will remain in effect until the facility is brought up to standard.

«Starting February 2, 2026, a restriction is being introduced for vehicles of 40 tons with an axle load of 10 tons on the road bridge over the Ob River in the area of the city of Surgut named after Valentin Fedorovich Solokhin (highway Nefteyugansk — Surgut km 52+000 — km 54+01)», reports the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Road Administration.

Heavy trucks weighing over 40 tons are recommended to use the new bridge in the Surgut area, «Zvezda Obi» (Star of the Ob):

Detour from the Nefteyugansk side: km 39+694 on the Nefteyugansk — Surgut highway;

  • Detour from the Surgut side: km 3+296 on the Eastern Bypass Road of the city of Surgut.
