Krasnoyarsk flight delayed over an hour in Novosibirsk
Krasnoyarsk-bound passengers are facing a delay on their flight from Novosibirsk, according to the online board of Novosibirsk«s Tolmachevo Airport.
The online board shows flight 5307 from Novosibirsk to Krasnoyarsk was scheduled to depart at 17:45 and arrive at 19:50.
However, boarding only began at 19:10 and was still ongoing at the time of writing (19:38 — Ed.), according to the information feed. The flight time between the cities is approximately 1.5 hours, meaning the plane will not arrive at the stated time.
Passengers on the flight told reporters from Prospekt Mira that the plane is not taking off due to a malfunction.
«The S7 airline flight 5307 from Novosibirsk to Krasnoyarsk could not take off due to a malfunction. Passengers were kept on board for almost an hour and a half, and are now being taken back to the terminal,» they said.
When contacted by NGS24.RU regarding the delay, S7 airline responded:
«A reserve aircraft was used for the flight to Krasnoyarsk. That plane took off from Tolmachevo half an hour ago and will land at Krasnoyarsk Airport soon,» the press service said.
Previously, NGS24.RU reported that three planes bound for other cities have landed in Krasnoyarsk over the past two weeks. First was a flight on the «Tashkent — Vladivostok» route, then a plane on the «Novosibirsk — Yakutsk» route, and the third was a flight on the «Saint Petersburg — Irkutsk» route.
