Ryazan Maternity Hospital Suspends Partner-Assisted Births

The hospital has temporarily limited a number of its non-essential services and visitor programs.
Maternity Hospital No. 2 in Ryazan has suspended partner-assisted births, the medical institution announced on social media.
In addition, the hospital will not hold open days with tours, yoga for pregnant women, or childbirth preparation classes for the time being. Visits to women in labor in the comfort-class rooms will also be temporarily restricted.
However, inpatient care is provided in full. «We remain ready around the clock to admit women in labor and provide all necessary medical care,» the post said.
The maternity hospital noted that it regularly publishes useful video materials on childbirth preparation, newborn care, and tours of all hospital departments in its VKontakte group.
The hospital staff promises to announce separately when all events and services will resume.
