Omsk Region took thirteenth place in business decline in 2025. Over the past 12 months in the region, companies closed more often than they opened. Analysts from FinExpertiza reported this based on data from the Federal Tax Service (FNS).
Over the past year in Omsk, 1,241 companies appeared (259 fewer than the year before), while 2,242 were liquidated (458 fewer than in 2024). The number of closed companies is 233,000, with their quantity growing by 15% compared to 2024.
«In 2025, out of 233.2 thousand commercial enterprises that ceased operations, 27 thousand companies (11.6%) were liquidated at the initiative of the owners. However, the overwhelming majority of companies — 206.2 thousand (88.4%) — were excluded from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL) by decisions of tax authorities.»
