Travel card system launched in Yaroslavl Region

In Yaroslavl Region, the issuance of free cards for travel tickets has started.

The travel ticket system has started operating in four cities of Yaroslavl Region: Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov Veliky, Uglich, and Danilov.
The monthly pass will cost 1,700 rubles (approximately $85 at current rates). The card balance can be topped up in several ways, including through a special online portal.
For passengers who use public transport daily, it is more convenient and economical to pay for travel with a travel ticket,explained the State Institution «Transport Organizer of Yaroslavl Region.»
Free plastic cards are issued at ticket offices at the following addresses:
- Pereslavl-Zalessky, Moskovskaya Street, 113.
- Rostov Veliky, Dostoevskogo Street, 1.
- Danilov, Privokzalnaya Street, 10 (here, instead of the standard pass, «Yakarta» is offered).
- Uglich, Olgi Berggolts Street, 15a.
Previously, a similar system was already in operation in Yaroslavl and Rybinsk. The expansion to new cities was announced by the authorities in October 2025, at which time a 50% discount for schoolchildren was also reported.
