MCD-3 line disrupted for over an hour

Passengers on the Leningradsky commuter line complained of massive delays on the morning of January 29. According to them, trains, including those on MCD-3, are running with significant delays.

Problems began to be reported after 6 a.m. Some trains are delayed by more than an hour.

MCD-3 passengers report that some local trains were replaced by express trains. Other trains were simply canceled, and people had to wait for the next ones.
«By the time they get to work, it will already be time to head back,» wrote Elena in the MCD-3 chat.
«I barely managed to leave from Ukhtomskaya, the car was empty,» said another passenger, Natalya.
The Telegram channel of the Moscow-Tver Passenger Company also warns passengers of delays.
«Currently, due to technical reasons, long-distance and commuter trains of the Leningrad direction of the October Railway (OZhD) are delayed en route to Moscow (Leningradsky Station) and back. The maximum delay is no more than 1 hour,» the press service of the October Railway reported. «Railway workers are taking necessary measures to reduce train delays.»
The exact causes of the delays are not named. Some passengers believe the disruption was due to heavy snowfall. The channel «Overheard Moscow Trains» reports that the cause was a technical failure of a freight train on the Ovrashki–Lyubertsy-2 section.
Earlier, a major disruption occurred on several MCD lines. It was all due to passengers pulling the emergency brake.
