The maximum load capacity has been increased on some ice crossings in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. It now stands at 60 tons. This was reported by the Yugra Road Administration.

Thus, from January 30, the specifications for ice crossings on winter roads in the Oktyabrsky District have changed:

village of Sergino — urban-type settlement of Andra via the Alyoshkinskaya channel, the Ob River;

  • village of Narykary — village of Muligort — village of Peregrebnoye via the Muligort channel;

  • urban-type settlement of Priobye — village of Peregrebnoye, including the access road to Peregrebnoye via the channels Ekhalposl, Un-Khobystposl, Pugoras and the Ob River.

    The increase in the maximum permitted vehicle weight to 60 tons will allow for more goods to be transported to hard-to-reach settlements in Yugra. Currently, all winter roads and ice crossings in the region have been put into operation. The remaining ice crossings in the region are certified for 30 tons.

    Earlier, we reported that in Nizhnevartovsk, they postponed the closure dates for traffic at the «Running Deer» interchange. And recently, the authorities of Surgut announced which new highways will be built in 2026.
