In Yekaterinburg, residents of a building at 10 Ispytateley Street have been without gas for two weeks. It«s all because of a neighbor who refuses to let gas workers into her apartment.

A single resident«s refusal has cut off gas supply to the whole building.

«She doesn»t want to let the inspector in because she thinks they«ll plant drugs on her. We»re desperate! We«ve been living without gas since January 15, we contacted the management company »Remstroikompleks«, they don»t answer calls, we also went to the police, they ignored us, we called the city gas service, they don«t want to listen. Due to connecting stoves and kettles, the electricity keeps tripping, and we, the residents, are afraid that the wiring will catch fire,» a resident told E1.RU.

Neighbors suspect the woman may be suffering from paranoia regarding the inspection.

The woman refuses to let even her own tenants into the communal apartment. On a bill hanging on the door, she left a message for all those trying to reach her: «Suck it and die from an overdose!»

An official notice about a gas check failed to persuade her to grant access.

The management company «Remstroikompleks» did not answer the call. «Yekaterinburggaz» said they are aware of the problem.

«The owner won»t let anyone into one apartment, she attacks everyone with knives. Everything will be resolved through the local police officer,« added the company.

And also read about how residents were without gas for more than a week. A pensioner didn«t want to let gas workers into an apartment that was piled high with junk.
