Sign Removed from June Mall in Krasnoyarsk as Rebranding Begins

The sign is being taken down from the June shopping mall in Krasnoyarsk as it is rebranded to Kubatura following its sale by Sber's subsidiary.

In Krasnoyarsk, the sign is being removed from the June shopping and entertainment center.

In late May 2025, a subsidiary of Sber sold the June shopping center for 1.888 billion rubles (approximately $21 million at current rates). The new owners are the proprietors of the Samara-St. Petersburg home goods retail centers called Kubatura. June will be renamed to Kubatura and transformed into a shopping center with furniture and home goods stores. A Hoff furniture store is already present there.

In the online directory 2GIS, the shopping center has already been renamed to Kubatura, while in Yandex Maps it still remains as June.

Krasnoyarsk residents themselves believe that the new building will not be successful.

«Among the people, it will still remain »June«,» writes a user with the username Nadezhda under a post by «Bal debutantok» (Debutantes« Ball).

«Kubatura — what an »unappetizing« name,» writes a user with the username Irina.

But there was also an opinion that the rebranding would benefit the shopping center.

«It»s high time to relaunch June... The emptiness has become tiresome,« writes a user with the username I.V. Orlov.

Earlier, NGS24.RU reported that the Chitai-gorod (Read-City) bookstore is closing in the June shopping center. It was supposed to operate until the end of January.
