Parents Defend Tyumen Private Kindergarten Amid Video Scandal
According to parents, the kindergarten staff treats the children exceptionally well, like their own family.
The situation with the scandalous video filmed at the private kindergarten «Little Country» in Tyumen is escalating. It was filmed by blogger and young mother Yelizaveta Semyonova, who, according to her, came to apply for a job there. And harshly criticized what is happening in this preschool institution. The parents of children who attend this kindergarten fundamentally disagree with the accusations against the head and the entire teaching staff.
«My son has been attending this kindergarten for three years now. Before that, we tried taking him to a municipal kindergarten, where the child became withdrawn and very anxious. That«s precisely why we started looking for a private one. We had no budget constraints, we were ready to drive to any district of the city. The main criteria for us were the quality of upbringing and nutrition, a friendly team, and the child»s safety. In the end, we chose this kindergarten and still consider our decision absolutely correct,» 72.RU was told by Alexei Feokistov.
He is sure that aside from criticism of the kindergarten staff, there is nothing in the video. Moreover, the superimposed subtitles mislead those who watch it.
«The head is saying not “devour” but “chew”, and that is clearly audible. It turns out to be a substitution. The girl who recorded the video calls us, the parents, idiots. She threatens, lies. Calls for illegal actions. We continue to take our children to the kindergarten, but now we worry about their safety. Tamara Yuryevna (the head. — Ed.) has started receiving threats,» he continued.
The half-empty soup bowls in the video can be explained by the fact that the children had already eaten by that time. As for bread, no one spares it for the children. But among the pupils, there are allergy sufferers who cannot have everything.
«This is not a free kindergarten, we vote with our rubles. And we certainly wouldn«t pay a fairly substantial sum for a bad kindergarten. There is daily reporting: where our children are, what they eat, what they do, and so on. My wife and I talk with our son every day — when we drive to the kindergarten and back. And he likes everything,» Alexei is sure.
Another parent, Denis Kamenshchikov, fully agrees with Alexei.
«Tamara Yuryevna has a calling to be a teacher, an educator. My five-year-old daughter knows English better than I do. And she is also taught to sing and dance here. And now, to everyone who has watched this video, I have to explain that it«s complete nonsense, lies. I am very dissatisfied with the current situation, and we [together with other parents] will file a complaint with the prosecutor»s office, a collective lawsuit. Our children«s rights are being violated, and we will defend them. A criminal case [against the author of the video] will definitely be opened, I have no doubt,» he shared.
Maria Schastlivaya also sees nothing reprehensible in the actions of the kindergarten staff. Several years ago, her son graduated from «Little Country», and now her younger child — a daughter — attends the same place. She learned about the provocative video from a neighbors« chat. And was shocked by how the author presents everything.
«This girl was specifically seeking out parents of children who go to this garden. My first thought was that this video is some kind of setup. I wrote to this Yelena, asked her what she wants to achieve with all this. Warned her that there could be consequences for slander and calls for extremism. And asked her for the video. The full one, not these edited clips. But she just blocked me in response, and then deleted our correspondence,» says Maria.
According to her, the head Tamara Golikova, to clarify the situation, invited the parents to a meeting. At it, they also found out why one of the children, a girl, was threatened with an injection: it was a request from her mother, coordinated with the manager.
«Some 24-year-old girl decided to use this for PR, and we are now worrying about our children. One teacher was taken away by ambulance: nerves. Why is the blogger doing all this? She is a mother herself, she has a small child. Unfortunately, she doesn«t think about the consequences. She is facing a not very happy life. But she chose it herself. Not us,» Maria summarized.
